The Google Chrome browser has received a lot of backslash for it’s very simple looks as well as the effect of using Google Chrome on battery life. Google Chrome is infamous for it’s battery draining issues but it seems like Google is finally ready with a solution.
Google announced Google Chrome 45, an update to the Google Chrome and has quite a few performances fixes. Google announced on Friday in a blog post that this new update for Google Chrome is designed to increase the speed and even save battery life which means that you can browse website even faster and for a longer period of time. Moreover, the latest update is a series of improvements which is done to run Google Chrome smooth on various devices, especially the Laptops and Smartphones.
The improvement to the Google Chrome for improving the user experience dates back to May this year when an extension called as The Great Suspender was launched whose sole purpose was to suspend unused and memory consuming tabs until the user clicks on those tabs again and reactivates them. This extension was then, considered as a important and huge improvement to the Google Chrome.
Now, Google Chrome , when restoring tabs after closing tabs, will load the mostly viewed tabs first so that users can find what they are looking for faster and even saves the memory. Chrome will also be able to detect whether tabs becomes obsolete and then free up the clogged resources. According to Google, this can save up to 10% of the battery life and when implemented on other Google Apps like Gmail and all, it will account for 25% of the total memory saved.
These improvements are largely welcomed especially for those users who are running Mac Laptops because they can expect a huge jump in battery life as well as the performance.
