Google, after releasing three preview for Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS ,is all set to roll out Android Marshmallow 6 operating System and as expected, it will be launched on Nexus Devices. According to the latest report, the tipping of Android 6.0 will start from October 5 this year. Interestingly, this date corroborates with the rollout date tipped by Telus, a Telecom Carrier .

According to Android Police report, Google would start rolling out Android 6.0 OS starting from October 5. The Android 6.0 update is expected to be released for LG Nexus 5,Asus Nexus 7, Motorola Nexus 6 and HTC Nexus 9 smartphone. But , the sad part is that LG Nexus 4 and Samsung Nexus 10 will not be receiving Android 6.0 OS update and it is not a surprise because the developer preview of Android 6.0 was not available for these devices.

Moreover, the final OS code will be also published to Android Open Source Project which is popularly known as AOSP on the same date. The OTA update will take some weeks to reach its user. Android 6.0 Marshmallow is being seen as a breakthrough upgrade for Android Users because it will have a lot of new features.

The important feature additions in Android Marshmallow update are revamped app permissions; Google Now on Tap feature; new Chrome feature that will change the Web experience for Android users; new ways to handle Web links; integrated Android Pay mobile payment system; new fingerprint APIs for developers to add into their apps and native fingerprint support, apart from battery saver features called Doze that will make Android devices smart about managing power. Some of the other additions include a new memory manager, adoptable storage devices, new app drawer, auto backup and restore for apps, and support for USB Type-C ports.

This Tuesday, Google is expected to release the new Chromecast and the two new Nexus smartphones. It will be important to see how this Android Marshmallow will be received by the users.
